The indexing head not only looks great but allows you to perform a variety of tasks with precision, such as measuring specific angles and dividing a circle into equidistant arcs. It comes with 3 interchangeable indexing plates and a tailstock to ensure more accurate and stable work. This tool will be your perfect assistant for machining the flutes of a milling cutter, cutting the teeth of a gear, creating curved mill slots, or drilling a bolt hole circle around the circumference of a part.

Constructed with solid cast iron, the indexing head boasts a rigid and durable body that ensures a long service life. Its mirror finish resists wear and tear, giving it a low-profile and visually appealing appearance. The adjustable headstock can tilt from 10° below horizontal to 90° vertical, providing versatility when cutting parts from different angles.

The direct indexing plate allows you to divide the full circle into 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, or 24 divisions by simply turning the extruded pin. Additionally, the high-precision indirect indexing plates A, B, and C enable a wide range of divisions from 2 to 50, with some options from 51 to 380 also available (refer to the manual for specific details).

The included MT2 tailstock provides strong support to the workpiece being machined, particularly useful when the workpiece is relatively long and slender.
